Returns & Refunds Policy (Australia & New Zealand)

At Auravé, we stand by our formulas, our botanicals, and our standards. If something goes sideways, we’ll sort it — no theatrics, no nonsense.

This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) & Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) & Fair Trading Act and applies to all purchases made via auraveskin.com.

When You Are Eligible for a Refund, Replacement or Store Credit

You are entitled to a remedy if the product:

  • Is faulty, damaged, or defective
  • Is not as described or significantly different from what was advertised

In these cases, you may choose:

  • Refund to original payment method, or
  • Replacement product, or
  • Store credit

When Returns Are Not Accepted

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with
  • Incorrect selection or allergic reactions (we encourage patch testing prior to use)
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage
  • Requests made after 14 days of delivery

Skincare is personal. Once the seal breaks, it's yours for good — like a tattoo, but for your bathroom cabinet.

Damaged or Faulty Product Claims

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photo or video evidence of the product and packaging

We assess fast — usually within 2–3 business days.

Return Process (If Required)

If a return is approved, you will receive:

  • Return instructions
  • Return shipping address (Melton, Melbourne 3335)

Items must be:

  • In original packaging
  • Unused & unopened
  • Returned within 7 days of approval

Return shipping costs apply unless the product is proven faulty, damaged, or incorrect — then we cover it.

Refund Timeframes

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Store credit is issued within 24 hours
  • Replacements are dispatched within 3–5 business days (subject to stock availability)

Skin Sensitivity Disclaimer

Aurave products are formulated with natural Ayurvedic and botanical ingredients. While we keep it clean and potent, nature can be unpredictable — like Melbourne weather.

If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or are unsure, we strongly recommend you:

  • Read ingredient lists
  • Patch test before full application
  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs

We cannot offer refunds based on sensitivity or allergic reactions.
